100 Thieves announces Yassuo to join as streamer

North American esports organization and lifestyle brand 100 Thieves announced that Hammoudi “Yassuo” Abdalrhman (Moe) will join as a League of Legends streamer.

Hammoudi “Yassuo” Abdalrhman transitions to 100 Thieves from a prior role as a streamer for Counter Logic Gaming. He joined CLG as a content creator in January of 2018. Moe mostly streams League of Legends and plays in a mid laner role with his iconic Yasuo champion. After going to college and finishing the first semester, he decided to pursue streaming full-time as a career path instead.

The announcement was teased for weeks with Moe appearing in Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag’s videos. The content creator also posted photos that tagged a photographer who had been doing a 100 Thieves photoshoot in the same time frame. Earlier today, the popular streamer tweeted that he would be doing the much awaited reveal on his Twitch live stream. His Twitter also received the “verification” checkmark on the same day.

Yassuo has almost 1.2 million followers on Twitch. He also boasts nearly 1.3 million subscribers on his main YouTube channel. His vlogging channel has just over 150,000 subscribers as well.

While streaming, he responded to a question in chat about him playing in the competitive scene. In answer to the question, Moe revealed that when the 2020 Spring Split starts up, there may be some possibility for him there. This would likely mean a substitute role in the LCS or Academy rosters. Similarly, Ashkan “TF Blade” Homayouni substituted for the top laner position on Team Liquid in January 2019. TF Blade had previously joined Team Liquid in June of 2018 as a streamer and content creator.
