100 Thieves have signed the Japanese-Canadian streamer and VALORANT content creator Kyedae “Kyedae” Shymko.

Kyedae is 100 Thieves’ first international content creator. At nineteen years old, she is also the organization’s youngest content creator to date. The news of her signing comes off the back of Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter having joined Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag and Jack “Courage” Dunlop in ownership. (Valkyrae’s goal is to further the organization’s mission of elevating women in gaming.) While Kyedae is the first female content creator signed this year, there are many more female signings to come.

Tyson “TenZ” Ngo, the current duelist on Sentinel’s VALORANT roster, is Kyedae’s boyfriend. Together, they have been focusing on content creation since TenZ had stepped back from professional play. He is now a current stand-in on Sentinels and participating in the VALORANT Champions Tour.

“I think it was in December, I got an email and Tyson saw it first before I did and said, ‘oh my gosh 100 Thieves just contacted you,'” said Kyedae in her interview with 100 Thieves. “We then hopped into a Discord call and talked through what my future goals are and what I see myself doing. Then, a few months down the line they sent me a contract.”

100 Thieves assist Kyedae in her content journey.

Kyedae got her start in content creation in November of last year. She has rapidly grown on both Twitch and YouTube in a matter of months. Additionally, she currently has well over 400,000 followers across both platforms. She regularly streams VALORANT alongside a variety of other games. Outside of gaming, she also streams her own personal life as a college sophomore biology major.

“We’re always on the lookout for breakout creators to help them boost their gaming careers,” said Nadeshot, Founder and CEO of 100 Thieves. “I have so much respect for Kyedae and her work ethic. She’s built such a strong community over just a few months despite being a full-time biology major with a full course load. I can’t wait to work with her more and help her reach her full potential as a content creator.”

Now that Kyedae has joined the ever-growing lifestyle brand of 100 Thieves, she has their marketing and content production teams to expand her growing fanbase. Despite being the youngest member of 100 Thieves’ content team, she already has the reach of the other female creators.

“It doesn’t quite feel real yet that I am now part of 100 Thieves,” said Kyedae to 100 Thieves. “Everyone in this organization is so admirable and I’m incredibly honored to be a part of this team. I started my streaming career less than half a year ago, and knowing that I have such a talented group of creators and staff behind me makes me feel very supported. It inspires me to work even harder.”
