North American esports organization and lifestyle brand 100 Thieves has announced the signing of Brodie “Rehx” Franks to its Fortnite roster. This will be his first official organization, after briefly representing Absent Esports during the 2019 Fortnite World Cup North America West Qualifiers. This news comes shortly after the esports organization signed former NRG Esports player Martin “MrSavage” Andersen.

100 Thieves signs Rehx

“Welcome Rehx, our newest Fortnite pro player! With 13x wins across Cash Cups and various tournaments, Rehx joins us just in time for Dreamhack Anaheim,” wrote 100 Thieves in a Twitter post. “He’s got a proven track record of dominant gameplay, and we’re excited to see him rep 100 Thieves this weekend!”

Rehx boasts numerous achievements in the competitive Fortnite scene. This includes first-place finishes in the recent weeks of North American West’s Contenders Solo Cash Cups. In addition, the talented player finished in 2nd while teaming with NRG Esports player Shane “EpikWhale” Cotton during Day 3 of the 2019 Winter Royale event. Rehx also had notable placements at online tournaments like the Champion’s Trios Cash Cup, along with the Fortnite Champion Series during Season X and Chapter 2: Season 1.

New addition to Fortnite roster

The 100 Thieves lineup now consists of Davis “Ceice” McClellan, Hayden “Elevate” Krueger, Gabriel “Kyzui” Harlos, Brandon “Klass” Weaver, Diego “Arkhram” Lima, Brett “Grandma” Squires, and Brendan “Falconer” Falconer, along with MrSavage and Rehx. Many of these players will be based at the newly established 100 Thieves Cash App Compound, where they will practice year-round under the same roof.

The lineup will compete together at DreamHack Anaheim between Feb. 21 – 23, which boasts a $250,000 prize pool up for grabs. The event will start with 400 total players trying to advance to the qualifiers through two initial heats. This will then shrink to 100 players for the grand finals, with eight games that determine who walks away with the trophy.
