The top 20 teams will get their cut of the $500,000 prize pool. Additionally, a special $8,000 Apex Predator award will be given out for highest eliminations. The Apex Legends Preseason Invitational winners will take home $105,000 and the World Champions title.

Apex Legends Preseason Invitational format

The tournament will follow a double-elimination format, with all teams starting in the same pool. Scoring kills, winning matches, and finishing in a high spot award points. The top 10 teams in each round of matches will advance into the winners bracket. The remaining teams will compete in the losers bracket, going forward for a chance at victory and redemption.

The highest scoring teams will advance to the Sept. 15 finals, which will function slightly differently. There, teams become eligible for a Match Point status when they reach a certain point threshold. Once a Match Point team wins a match, they become the Apex Legends Preseason Invitational Champions.

The Apex Legends Preseason Invitational starts on Sept. 13, and the finals will go down on Sept. 15. Fans can watch all matches from the event, which will be on streamed on Mixer, Twitch and YouTube.
