Today has been one giant news dump for Season 7 of Apex Legends. The day started with Respawn Entertainment showing the new Stories from the Outlands video starring Horizon. Then, we received an official blog post detailing most of what’s coming in Season 7. From the new map Olympus to the Trident vehicle, fans are anxiously awaiting the November 4 release. However, one piece of information we didn’t receive was regarding the new weapon.

Traditionally, each season introduces a weapon into the game. In Season 6, we saw the Volt, for example. Although, up to this point, no official details have been given on any such weapon. Of course, that doesn’t mean we haven’t seen a leak.

Titanfall weapon coming to Apex Legends Season 7?

Up to this point, nearly all of the weapons inside of Apex Legends can be found within the Titanfall games. The R301, R-99, Wingman, Volt, Mastiff, etc. are all a part of the Titanfall, as is Apex Legends itself. So whenever a new weapon is leaked for the start of a season, it’s generally believed to be coming from those games.

Well, the same appears to be true for the rumored Season 7 weapon. Earlier today, before the official news about the season was released, a post appeared on Reddit with an image of a never-before-seen weapon set against the backdrop of the armory in Apex Legends. And then it was promptly deleted.

New Weapon? from ApexUncovered

The current belief is this weapon could be either the previously leaked 30×30 Winchester rifle or Titanfall‘s G2A4 Battle Rifle. As of right now, it’s tough to tell based on the image alone. However, the fact that it looks to have the same style as other Apex Legends weapons carries some weight.

Currently, it’s unclear if this weapon is real or if it would even arrive at the start of Season 7. There have also been other hints that a bow and arrow could be the season’s new weapon. So the possibility for this rifle’s entry is up in the air, to say the least.
