With the launch of Season 1 in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific, the most popular weapon choices have been of the Vanguard variety. They’re the newest guns on the block and players are mostly using them over loadouts from Modern Warfare and Cold War. However, there are still some past weapons that are at the top of the meta in Season 1. The Cold War AK-47 and its dominant loadout, for example, are still viable in Warzone Pacific as the game enters 2022.

For around a year at this point, the Cold War AK-47 has been one of the best assault rifles in Warzone. Its mix of speed and power is nearly unmatched in the battle royale and players have taken full advantage of those qualities. While guns like the Cooper Carbine might have more attachments, the Cold War AK-47 can still shred enemies with its loadout.

Best Cold War AK-47 loadout in Warzone Pacific

The recommended loadout for the Cold War AK-47 hasn’t been changed much since it was first introduced in Warzone. Veterans of the game will recognize the loadout instantly, as it uses meta attachments for a Cold War assault rifle.

  • Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
  • Barrel: 20″ Spetsnaz RPK Barrel
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Underbarrel: Spetsnaz Grip
  • Ammunition: 45 Rnd

The Cold War Ak-47 has its damage range, bullet velocity, recoil control and magazine size all increased with this loadout. The GRU Suppressor takes care of increasing damage range and recoil control along with keeping players off of the radar when firing. The 20″ Spetsnaz RPK Barrel accomplishes the same but adds some bullet velocity as well.

Finally, the Spetsnaz Grip boosts recoil control to make the Ak-47 a monster at longer ranges. This is also helped by running the Axial Arms 3x scope, which is the best optic for an AR in Warzone.
