Activision has released the official gameplay trailer and roadmap for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season Two. Following the cinematic trailer from earlier in the week, this news confirms many suspicions in the community when it comes to the new installment.

Season Two is sticking with the trend of releasing content throughout the course of the season. While there will be plenty of content available when the second season releases on Thursday, Feb. 25, more is coming later down the line.

According to the official roadmap, this appears to be the most content ever delivered in a single Call of Duty season.

The cinematic trailer reveals that Season Two is set in Southeast Asia. That is where Russell Adler has been captured by Stitch, Season One’s main villain. The backstory for various seasons helps to fill out the content featured in Black Ops Cold War, as well as the Battle Pass.

Speaking of which, Season Two will deliver another 100-tier Battle Pass full of cosmetics, Operators and weapons. At the start of Season Two, fans will be able to unlock the Warsaw Pact Operator, FARA 83 assault rifle (Galil), LC-10 SMG, Machete and the Death Machine scorestreak.

Also coming at launch is the 6v6 Multiplayer map Apocalypse, and new game modes for both Multiplayer and Warzone. Activision is possibly teasing a new map for Warzone as well; it stated a “Dark Wave approaches Verdansk.”

Activision is advertising Season Two as “The End begins.” This could hint at a new Warzone map arriving in Season Three.

Outbreak releasing with Season Two

Zombie fans won’t be left out of the fun either. Activision is releasing the long-awaited Outbreak mode.

Set on the Ruka fireteam map from Black Ops Cold War, this mode sees players trying to survive while completing objectives and investigations. Players can also use a new Field Upgrade while playing Outbreak, which Frenzied Guard is releasing with the start of Season Two. When you activate this Field Upgrade, Zombies will only target you and deal damage to your Armor alone.

Finally, there are four new Prestige emblems for fans to earn in Black Ops Cold War. Similar to Season One, these emblems, along with other items, are earned every 50 levels until level 200 is reached. Beyond that, you’ll unlock a Prestige Key at every 50 levels and the title of Prestige Master.

Season Two of Black Ops Cold War and Warzone arrives on Thursday, Feb. 25, for all systems. The update will presumably be rather large, so make some space on your hard drive.
