The first ever tournament for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be taking place at TwitchCon this year, called the Doritos Bowl. People will be participating in four-man teams for the exciting battle royale mode, Blackout. They are also having popular streamers as captains for the four teams in the competition. Team captains are Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek, Jack “CouRage” Dunlop and Ben “DrLupo” Lupo.

The Doritos Bowl website states:
Doritos Bowl is an epic battle royale tournament coming to TwitchCon 2018. On October 27, four all-star teams led by the biggest Twitch streamers in the world will compete in the massive new Call of Duty®: Black Ops 4 battle royale mode — Blackout. The winning team will take home the Doritos Bowl trophy. Which team will be the last one standing?
Leslie Vesper, senior director of marketing at Frito-Lay North America, states in a press release:
Doritos Bowl takes the brand’s long history in gaming to new heights and puts us front and center within the gaming community. When you have names and partners like Doritos, Twitch, and Ninja all joining forces, you know it’s going to be an epic event. We hope this will be something unlike anyone has ever seen in gaming.
Now, let us meet the four teams that will be duking it out this October.
Team Ninja
Joining Ninja will be a few of his good friends and fellow streamers. Josh “JoshOG” Beaver, Brennon “GoldGlove” O’Neill and Justin “Fearitself” Kats will be on Ninja’s team for the tournament. JoshOG and GoldGlove are both pretty popular full-time streamers, who have 1.5 million and 1.3 million followers on Twitch respectively. Fearitself is a retired professional Halo player who would last play for OpTic Gaming, but his last Halo championship was back in 2010.
Team Shroud
Similar to Ninja’s team, Shroud’s squad is made up of fellow streamers and friends. Justin “Just9n” Ortiz, Chad “Chad” Goff and Jake “ChocoTaco” Throop will be joining Shroud in battle at TwitchCon this year. Just9n, like Shroud, is a former professional Counter-Strike player who retired to stream full time. He would last play for Muffin Lightning in 2017. Chad and ChocoTaco are both full-time streamers with large follower bases.
Team CouRage
Jack “CouRage” Dunlop’s team may be the most stacked squad of the four. He has a plethora of former and current professional esports players on his team. Damon “Karma” Barlow is currently a streamer under the OpTic Gaming organization. However, he did play for OpTic Gaming in the Call of Duty World League Championships. Tyler “TeePee” Polchow is a retired Call of Duty and 2014 World Champion. He is currently the OpTic Gaming head coach, who also streams. Finally, Jacob “Hysteria” Reiser is a Fortnite player for Cloud9 and is also a former Halo pro.
Team DrLupo
Lastly, DrLupo’s team has a collection of relatively popular streamers on his team. Annemunition is a popular streamer with 400,000 followers on Twitch. Mad Ruski is also a fellow Twitch streamer who has a decent following on Twitch with just over 28,000 followers. The last member to join Team DrLupo is Ninja with no L, who has a pretty good following on Twitch as well with around 48,000 followers.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be released worldwide on October 12, but you can try out Blackout in the open PC beta on September 15.
