The Kickoff Classic has come to an end and the Call of Duty League turns its attention to Opening Weekend.

For the first event of the 2021 season, fans have been provided the schedule and pools to expect on February 11.

While the Kickoff Classic was a glorified scrimmage for most teams, it still got the community pumped up to watch competitive Call of Duty again.

Opening Weekend full schedule and pools

In a first for the Call of Duty League, the pools for the first event were decided by the teams. In a snake-style draft, a representative from almost every team selected which team they did not want in their own pool. The Dallas Empire, as the reigning champs, selected first, followed by Atlanta FaZe, OpTic Chicago etc.

Obviously the representatives picked teams that they’ve either been struggling against in scrimmages or just don’t want to play early on. The actual process behind this was quite interesting and should lead to some great matches in the pools. Below, you can see all the teams in both Pool A and Pool B.

Most fans see Pool B as the “Pool of Death” but Pool A also features some intriguing storylines.

Moving on to the actual schedule for the event, the Opening Weekend takes place over the span of four days. From Feb. 11-14, there will be at least two matches per day, with the final two days featuring three. Below, you can see the schedule for each day but keep in mind, the times tend to fluctuate.
