A Call of Duty: Warzone player has discovered a frustrating bug. This bug entails players spawning in the gas when returning to battle from the Gulag. Since the release of the new battle royale, players have discovered strategies that can be used in the Gulag. However, players who spawn in the gas end up defenseless. A clip from the Call of Duty: Warzone Reddit page shows the unfair spawn in action.

Spawning back in the gas

In the clip, the player wins a 1v1 in the Gulag. Then, the screen turns to black and the player pulls up their map. The map shows that the player is in the red zone, which is toxic gas. With the screen still being black, the player is unable to navigate themselves back into the safe zone. Eventually, the black screen disappears and the player then redeploys. By this point, almost all of the player’s health has run out and they are left without a chance of survival.

I won my fight in the gulag, and then spawned in the gas, killing me pretty much instantly. Is there a patch in the works for this?

This glitch is frustrating for many Warzone fans as it does not give players a chance to land. Additionally, in the clip, the player in the Gulag was the last alive for their team. The glitch meant that the player did not even have the opportunity to buy back their teammates and get back into the action.

Another Warzone fan commented on the clip: “this also happened to me, but when bought back by a teammate.” Although Infinity Ward has yet to address this glitch, the status of bugs can be viewed on the official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Trello board.
