Some exciting news for fans of Street Fighter V today as Capcom has revealed the full schedule for Capcom Pro Tour 2019! You can find the full schedule now. The first Pro Tour event will be at Final Round in Atlanta, GA on Mar. 15 – 17. The schedule is very well planned out, with no major overlaps of events so TOs won’t have to compete with each other.

The rules will work a little differently than last year after taking feedback from the community. One of the biggest changes is making it easier for foreign players to compete on a national level, which is one of the biggest complaints from last year’s events. The year 2019 also marks the return of a Premier Event in Latin America with Game Over and First Attack taking over as the Latin America Regional Final.

Previous Capcom Cup champion Gachikun will automatically qualify and compete throughout the year for seeding purposes at the finale. In addition to the Premier and Ranking events throughout the year, there will be three Super Premier events at EVO 2019, and two TBD locations in Japan and North America. Points awarded at these events will be greater than others, meaning the winners of these events will have the highest chances of making it into the finals. At the end of the year the top 26 players from the Global Leaderboard, as well as the Regional Finalists, will fill out the qualifying spots in Capcom Cup. The point distribution is as follows, adjusted for the new Super Premier events.

Point values for the standard premier events remain mostly the same, so winners of those events will still have a high chance of qualifying. The structure of online events has changed as well, with the number of events lowering but covering a larger area, including events for Australia and the Middle East. More information about regional breakdowns and registration for these online events will be made available at a later date.

All in all, it looks like another exciting year of Street Fighter V is in store, as the world’s best compete for over $600,000 in prize money throughout the year in Capcom Pro Tour 2019.
