Chamber reveals more information about VALORANT’s agent 19

Chamber gives players new insight into what the next VALORANT agent, number 19, will be like through voice-line interactions with other agents.

VALORANT first teased the newest agent during the broadcast for the grand finals of the VALORANT Champions on Dec. 12.  Chamber, the last agent to be released to VALORANT, has more information for us.

Firstly, the next agent will be female; Chamber refers to the agent as ‘she’ in voice lines to other agents. During the broadcast, a female voice can also be heard, confirming this suspicion that the next agent will be female-presenting. Chamber also hints at the fact that the next agent may be younger, potentially one of the youngest agents we have seen to date.

In a voice line to Reyna, Chamber can be heard saying “Reyna, radiant as always. Speaking of which, I have an impressionable young mind for you to corrupt. A gift from me to you.” This is also mirrored in Chamber’s voice line to Sage when he asked Sage to be a mentor for a new student he has found for her. Both insinuate that the next agent may be younger than some of the current roster.

Agent 19’s origins and abilities in VALORANT

As suspected by some members of the community during the broadcast based on voice lines from the newest agent, Chamber has confirmed that agent 19 will hail from Manila, Philippines. The VALORANT world continues to span as new agents are added from across the globe to appeal to all regions. In a voice line to Viper, Chamber can be heard saying “When you go meet the new agent, maybe pack something light. Manila is quite warm this time of year.”

We also know that the new agent has some connection to lightning. This can be seen in the snippet we got of her during the Champions reveal. Additionally, it can be heard in the Filipino voice lines picked up by fans from the broadcast. Finally, Chamber mentions in a voice line to Sage that she can be a bit ‘prickly.’

Finally, we can predict that the 19th agent could be a duelist based on a few interesting details. Firstly, Chamber mentions that “Jett needs some competition, I think. I know just the person.” Also in some of the voice lines during the broadcast, the new agent can be heard saying “I go fast.” This means that another movement-based agent could be on the horizon.
