Many players are about to reach their tipping point with cheating in Call of Duty: Warzone. The problem seems to only be getting worse with every passing day despite Activision supposedly banning over 50,000 hackers. While it’s an issue for all players, cheating has proven especially annoying for Warzone Wednesday players.

This tournament, put on by YouTuber Keemstar, pits teams of three against one another to see who can garner the most kills over different Warzone matches. During the course of the event, a plethora of teams had their run cut short due to cheaters.

Warzone Wednesday plagued by cheaters again

This was also an issue last week when Warzone Wednesdays first began. Cheating is definitely worse this week, but it was still disappointing to see it ruin the first installment of Warzone Wednesdays.

For the second time in a row, Rogue Huskers, TSM Diego, and JoshOG won the event. However, their win was marred by speculation since the second-place team ran into a group of hackers in their second game. On that team was Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, who shared his feelings on Twitter after the event.

Ninja isn’t the first high-profile streamer to call out Activision for the cheating issue in Warzone. 100 Thieves stars Jack “CouRage” Dunlop and Matt “Nadeshot” Haag both took to Twitter as well to talk about hackers.

While many have been putting up with the problem since Warzone‘s release, that’s about to change. Riot Games is set to release a closed beta for its new FPS, Valorant, on April 7. It seems like every big and small streamer will try their hand at Valorant, meaning Warzone‘s viewership and playerbase is in jeopardy.

The new FPS has already poached some of Fortnite‘s professional players. If the cheating persists in Warzone, it’s a good bet that Valorant will also siphon off a chunk of the game’s popularity. Activision needs to take major action before that happens.
