The Valorant Champions Tour Game Changers Series One tournament continues as CLG Red and Dignitas Female move on in the lower bracket final on March 26. CLG took on TSM Female in a tight 2-1 battle as Dignitas moved through OWA OWA 2-0.

The two teams will matchup against each other in the third round of the losers bracket tomorrow. The victor will then matchup against the loser from the Upper Final, Moon Raccoons or Cloud9 White.

CLG Red defeat TSM Female

CLG RED has been taking tight series after tight series this tournament. The team took down OWA OWA 2-1 in their first match of tournament, then lost to Moon Raccoons Black 0-2 in two close games to be knocked into the lower bracket. In the squads matchup against TSM Female, it was the three signed starters that pushed CLG Red ahead. Both Benita “bENITA” Novshadian and Naomi “Naomi” Sauvola were the teams top fraggers in the final two maps. Both players topped the leaderboard in kills across the entire series as well. Melanie “rise” Tetreault was also consistent across the three maps as well, playing only Omen as the rest of the team clocked in at least two agents played each.

In the series, CLG Red took the first map convincingly on Split, 13-5. But then TSM Female won a close game on Icebox 13-11, taking it before CLG Red could force overtime. CLG closed out the series on Haven, ending the half 8-4 and closing it out 13-8.

Dignitas Female move through OWA OWA

Dignitas Female took a convincing 2-0 victory against OWA OWA, not letting the amateur squad reach double digits in either map. The former Counter Strike team did not look phased from the switch in games at its members dominated on both maps and on the scoreboard.

All five Dignitas Female members had more or equal kills in comparison to OWA OWA’s top fragger. Emmalee “EMUHLEET” Garrido held the lead in the first map on Ascent. The team took the map 13-7 as she finished with 21 kills on Reyna. Amanda “rain” Smith topped the leaderboard on Haven, notching 19 on Omen with a 300 average combat score.

The two teams will continue on to face each other in the lower bracket and continue the fight to the Grand Finals on March 28.
