Complexity Gaming sign k0nfig, poizon to complete roster

North American organization Complexity Gaming has finished its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster with the signing of former Windigo Gaming player Valentin “poizon” Vasilev and former OpTic Gaming player Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke. These two players will replace the roles that Shahzeeb “ShahZaM” Khan and Rory “dephh” Jackson previously held on the roster.

New Complexity Gaming roster

After a disappointing result at the 2019 StarLadder Berlin Major, Complexity Gaming CEO Jason Lake went to social media to stress that he wasn’t happy with the team’s performance. After stating that he would “build a juggernaut” in August, the final roster has been decided about three months later. It consists of Owen “oBo” Schlatter, William “RUSH” Wierzba, Benjamin “blameF” Bremer, k0nfig, and poizon. Jamie “keita” Hall will serve as the coach.

Only one player remains from the previous roster in oBo, who joined in June to replace Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz. K0nfig joins after the former OpTic Gaming CSGO roster disbanded in early October due to the discontinued support from its parent company Immortals Gaming Club. Complexity Gaming was revealed to have been the organization that made an offer to poizon after Windigo Gaming exited the title as well. RUSH and blameF were acquired from Cloud9 and Heroic, respectively, and replaced Ricardo “Rickeh” Mulholland and Hunter “SicK” Mims.

But is this what Jason Lake claims?

While this roster isn’t considered a true “juggernaut team,” many in the community think it can definitely become a top 10 team. Some even speculate that the team could make it into the top 5 if enough work is put in. Complexity Gaming plays their next few games against Brazilian team DETONA Gaming, South African team ATK, and North American organization Team Envy in Season 10 of the ESL Pro League.
