CS:GO Ranking changes: CR4ZY continues to climb

The latest global ranking changes by HLTV do not bring anything groundbreaking to the table, especially when comparing to last week’s changes. The most impressive CS:GO team recently (apart from the Team Liquid hype train) is the ex-Valiance team, now known as CR4ZY, which continue to impress after beating North.

#16: CR4ZY continue their unsuspecting run

It all started with the ESL One New York Europe qualifier where CR4ZY went on to eliminate one of the favorites, mousesports. The team did not qualify for the event in the end, as the spot went in favor of the French G2. Nevertheless, the team impressed.

CR4ZY replicated their performance once more at the recent Europe Minor qualifier for the upcoming StarLadder Major in Berlin. The organization went on to defeat North 2-0 and has successfully qualified for the Major. Not only that, North, one of the favorites of the Minor, now has to go through the Minor Play-in in order to even show up at the Major.

Overall, CR4ZY has shaken up the scene recently and it has landed at #16, which is a very impressive result for a team that went through rebranding at the beginning of June.

Other mentions

BIG, despite not being at peak form, have advanced five places up to spot #22. It’s a questionable change, as the German team failed to impress once again at the Europe Minor for StarLadder. They didn’t even reach the knockout stage. We will not be seeing BIG at the upcoming Major.

Renegades drop even more after the recent IEM Chicago. After an impressive performance at IEM Katowice, the boys from down under have failed to replicate their performance throughout the other events in 2019. Renegades sit now at spot #17 and are definitely nowhere close to the top 10.

North plummet out of the top 10 following their disappointing showcase at the Europe Minor. Failing to qualify for the StarLadder Major has caused the Danish team to now sit at #12. We have yet to see if North makes it to the Challenger stage in Berlin.
