While the end of the event is the most exciting, Pool Play is perhaps the most important part of the tournament. This decides if a team even makes it into the bracket and where they are seeded. Many teams determine their fate with these three simple Pool Play matches.

Here is the full list of dates and times for every Pool Play match at CWL Champs 2019.

CWL Champs Pool Play dates and times

Pool Play will begin on Aug. 14 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time (1 p.m. Eastern). All matches will be broadcast across several different platforms, with the main station being at Twitch.tv/CallofDuty.

The last two matches can be found on the COD Charlie and Delta streams.

Matches to keep an eye on

As always, there are certain games that are more eye-catching than others. Whether it be a rivalry or two great teams going head to head, Pool Play usually features some nail-biting action.

In our opinion, here are four matches you’ll definitely want to tune into (times in PDT):

  • Reciprocity vs. Team Envy (5:30 Wednesday)
  • Splyce vs. Heretics (11:30 Thursday)
  • 100 Thieves vs. Midnight (4:00 Thursday)
  • OpTic Gaming vs. Evil Geniuses (5:30 Wednesday)

A rematch from CWL Champs 2018 could be the best game of Pool Play.

Of course, this doesn’t mean any other match doesn’t warrant attention. There are always games that no one expects to be close but end up in an upset or close finish. The four matches above are simply the ones we’ll be playing close attention to.
