Currently tied for last in Division B with Elevate, Denial Esports has decided to completely renovate its roster for the upcoming CWL London tournament.

This new roster includes Joseph “Joee” Pinnington, Rhys “Rated” Price, Ben “Bance” Bance, Carson “Brack” Newberry, and Alex “Alexx” Carpenter. They will continue with this new roster for the remainder of the CWL Pro League.

The new Denial Esports roster

Three of the players, which include Rated, Joee, and Bance, are former Red Reserve players. Brack played last for Excelerate Gaming, which sold their CWL Pro League spot to Elevate. Alexx, on the other hand, played for Team Sween after failing to qualify. CWL Pro League rules state that a team that acquires another team’s spot has to keep at least one player from the prior roster to be eligible. Because of this, Denial Esports has retained Ryan “ZeeK” Lapierre as a substitute.

  • Joseph “Joee” Pinnington is an SMG Support. He most notably placed second at Call of Duty World League Championship 2016. Some of his previous teams include Orbit, Splyce, and Epsilon Esports.
  • Rhys “Rated” Price is a Main AR. Some of his previous teams include Elevate, Orbit, Splyce, and Millenium.
  • Ben “Bance” Bance is a Flex. He has played for organizations that include Splyce, Exertus Esports, and Team XENEX.
  • Carson “Brack” Newberry is an AR slayer. Aside from playing on Excelerate Gaming for a short period, he also played on Midnight Esports, Revenge, and VexX Gaming.
  • Alex “Alexx” Carpenter is a player for Denial Esports. He has competed with teams like Team Sween, Lightning Pandas, and UNILAD Esports.

The old roster

With this new roster renovation, Denial Esports has dropped their entire CWL lineup other than the required exception of ZeeK. Wailers “Wailers” Locart and Paul “Breszy” Breszynski joined Elevate’s new roster. Lucas “rizK” Derambure was also picked up as a substitute. Nathan “Natshay” Dupuis and Thibaud “Staan” Gounod have become free agents.

Denial Esports will debut their overhauled roster at CWL London on May 3-5. They have been placed in Pool B, alongside Gen.G, Splyce, and Luminosity.
