Dota 2 Regional Qualifier Watch Guide

The Dota regional qualifiers begin tomorrow to determine who will make it to the International 10.

The International 10 is coming in a month and a half. While we already know the direct invites, a single team from every region still has the chance to earn a spot in Dota’s most distinguished tournament. In order to claim their place to The International 10, the remaining teams must fight it out in the Dota Regional Qualifiers.

The Dota regional qualifiers will feature double elimination brackets across the six Dota Pro Circuit regions. The respective teams that make it out of each qualifier will have the chance to fight for 40 million dollars at The International 10.

How to watch the Dota regional Qualifiers

The Dota 2 regional qualifiers will be hosted on Beyond The Summit twitch channels. The qualifiers are separated into three different blocks, with 2 qualifiers being played every block. Each region will have a separate broadcast that will be hosted by the casters who have covered the region over the season. Here are the dates for each Dota Regional Qualifier:

June 23-26

South American and Eastern Europe Qualifier

June 30 – July 03

North American and Southeast Asian Qualifier

July 07 – 10

Western European and Chinese Qualifier

Which teams are playing the Dota Regional Qualifiers

The bracket seeding in the Dota Regional Qualifier is based on the standings of each team at the end of the season. The remaining upper bracket teams begin in the upper bracket, while the lower division teams start out in the lower bracket. The Qualifiers will feature great teams that were not able to make the cutoff for a direct invite. These teams include: Team Nigma, OG, Undying, TNC Predator, NoPing esports and many more.

The English broadcast by BeyondTheSummit will also feature many prominent Dota personalities and casters. Here is the talent lineup for the South American qualifier starting at 11AM EDT:

With so many powerful teams left in the running, the Dota Regional Qualifiers will definitely have some great games to look out for. The Eastern European Qualifier will begin tomorrow at 1AM PDT on the main BeyondTheSummit Twitch Channel.
