After a week of voting, North America and Europe are sending two of their best to All-Stars 2018. Team Liquid’s Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng and Cloud9’s Zachary “Sneaky” Scuderi will represent North America. Meanwhile, Fnatic’s Rasmus “Caps” Winther and Martin “Rekkles” Larsson will be representing Europe. It was a close race between the top five players in North America, but in Europe, it was a runaway win for the top two candidates.
Voting has come to an end and the top 2 pros from each region will receive invites to All-Star 2018! Congrats to @Sneaky, @TLDoublelift, @FncCapsLoL, and @RekklesLoL! #allstar2018 pic.twitter.com/VpQCGToRJd

Double ADC’s for North America
The top four choices in North America were very close in terms of voting percentage. Only one perfect would separate them from each other, with Sneaky tying Doublelift for the top spot with 16.7%. Doublelift was probably the most likely to capture an All-Stars nomination, even though it may not be the reward he was looking for. After a disappointing Worlds performance, the superstar ADC may need a happier, easier going event to lighten his spirit. Team Liquid would rely on Doublelift throughout the NA LCS Summer Split, leaning on him all the way to two NA LCS championships. Cloud9 top laner Eric “Licorice” Ritchie would take third place with a percentage of 15.7%. Meanwhile, TSM mid laner Soren “Bjergsen” Bjerg would end up o.1% away from the third place spot. Rounding out the fifth spot would be Cloud9’s mid laner Nicolaj “Jensen” Jensen with 9.1%.

For a moment, Bjergsen was actually in a top two spot, to many fans’ dismay. Team Solo Mid fans came out in force in the opening days, giving him 16.5% of the votes. However, after a quick tweet from SKT T1’s ADC, Bae “Bang” Jun-sik, Sneaky would overtake Bjergsen with ease. As many fans know, Sneaky has come out as a very capable cosplayer. Bang would tweet out that if Sneaky made it to All-Stars, he would do a Xayah and Rakan cosplay with the Cloud9 ADC.
Also, Licorice would end up tweeting that he’d “love to go to All-Stars this year, after winning Worlds”. The Cloud9 official Twitter would end up retweeting this, which would end up boosting his vote numbers. Additionally, many people would show up for Licorice, as his performance this year warrants an All-Star appearance.
Fnatic sends two
Meanwhile, Europe will be sending two Fnatic members to All-Stars this year. Caps and Rekkles will be the two fan-voted players, as their extraordinary performances, this past year have proven they are worthy. Caps would win the Most Valuable Player for the 2018 Summer Split, leading Fnatic to another EU LCS Championship. He would also lead the league in kills, and be in the top three for average gold difference at ten minutes, average creep score difference at ten minutes, and damage percentage for his team.
WE ARE HERE FOR ONE THING.

However, fans would vote Rekkles in second, even though the star ADC would tweet out that he didn’t want to participate this year. This may have given fans more incentive to vote for him, but many people expect him to decline his invite to the event. If he does decline the invite, his spot would go to the third place player, jungler Mads “Broxah” Brock-Pedersen. This would still mean that a Fnatic player would be representing the EU LCS. Broxah has been a huge part of Fnatic’s 2018 success, especially at the World Championship.
Another player who could be worthy of an All-Star spot would be Team Vitality’s Daniele “Jiizuke” di Mauro. Although not as popular as the Fnatic members, his contributions to the European scene cannot be downplayed. At Worlds, Jiizuke would play with a fire that we have only seen in the best of the best. He and Team Vitality would play with such aggressiveness, that it may have inspired the other European Worlds teams. He would also be a very fun competitor in the 1v1 portion of the tournament.
