Popular Twitch streamer Herschel “Dr Disrespect” Beahm has entered into an exclusive partnership with ROCCAT. Through their partnership, ROCCAT becomes Dr Disrepect’s exclusive provider of mice, keyboards, and mousepads.
Dr DisRespect is one of the most beloved internet personalities. His online presence has grown to more than 4 million followers on Twitch and 1 million on Twitter. Most known for his manly persona, Dr Disrespect grew his platform by streaming games such as H1Z1, PUBG, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, and Apex Legends. Most recently, he’s been seen playing Escape from Tarkov, Ring of Elysium, and Battlefield V. In 2017 and 2019, he was the Esports Awards Streamer of the Year. And his talents aren’t just gaming-related. The 6’8″ streamer attended California State Polytechnic University, where he was an NCAA Division II basketball star.
Doc’s portfolio continues to bloom. He has a publishing deal with Gallery Books, is involved with Skybound Entertainment for a new TV show, and manages a clothing line with Meta Threads.
To celebrate teaming up with Dr Disrespect, ROCCAT has redesigned their social media outlets and website. The site now dons red and black, an ode to Dr DisRespect’s color scheme. This partnership shouldn’t come as a surprise. In June 2019, Turtle Beach acquired ROCCAT for more than $15 million. Dr. DisRespect’s long-standing relationship with Turtle Beach is known, and he’s commonly pictured wearing his signature red headset.
Doc’s official setup
ROCCAT, founded in 2007, is a German peripheral company specializing in precision gaming equipment. Gamers love looking to their favorite gamers and streamers to decide what peripherals to use. Previously, Doc used a Razer BlackWidow chromas keyboard. His Twitch commands hinted at a prospective deal; typical “!mouse” in his chat activated a reply stating “under doctor NDA.” Doc’s official partnership is sure to showcase ROCCAT’s gear.
