ENCE have become the last team to lock in their spots at IEM Winter after working their way through the European Qualifiers. They join Fnatic and MOUZ, who already qualified through the upper bracket of the qualifiers.

ENCE were knocked down to the lower bracket by FunPlus Phoenix in their first match, but they rallied and defeated the team 2-0 in a rematch after a dominant lower bracket run where they didn’t drop a single map. The team recently qualified for the PGL Major Stockholm after an impressive string of wins at IEM Fall that ended in the grand finals with a 3-1 loss to Ninjas in Pyjamas.

The international team is composed of Danish veteran Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer as well as Joonas “doto” Forss, Lotan “Spinx” Giladi, Paweł “dycha” Dycha and Olek “hades” Miskiewicz. They are coached by Eetu “sAw” Saha.

In the upper bracket, Fnatic and MOUZ both qualified without dropping maps in their respective runs. The rest of the teams at the event — FPX, Complexity, 9z Team, K23 and Team Spirit — who fought their way through from open qualifiers, are eliminated and will not attend IEM Winter.
