Every weapon available to use in the Valorant Closed Beta

After what seemed like months of waiting, the Valorant Closed Beta has finally arrived. Riot Games has enabled Twitch Drops on select streams, so make sure to tune in for your chance at gaining access to the beta. We went over how to do this in a previous guide, so check that out if you haven’t already. With the Closed Beta, it seems Riot Games has allowed participants to play a massive amount of the game. There’s a full list of Agents, maps, and weapons. We’ll go over the latter today, giving you the full rundown of each weapon category in Valorant.

The weapons in the Valorant Closed Beta

As of right now, we’re not sure if Riot is holding back any weapons. It seems likely that the developers will introduce a couple more guns once Valorant launches this summer. However, there is still a fair bit to choose from within the Closed Beta.

Currently, Valorant has seven weapon categories within its beta, each with at least two guns (not including Melee). In order, they are: Sidearms, SMGs, Rifles, Snipers, Shotguns, Heavies, and Melee. If you’ve played CSGO before, then this distribution will look similar. Let’s have a look at what guns reside in each category.

Sidearms

  • Classic
  • Shorty
  • Frenzy
  • Ghost
  • Sheriff

SMGs

  • Stinger
  • Spectre

Rifles

  • Bulldog
  • Guardian
  • Phantom
  • Vandal

Snipers

  • Marshal
  • Operator (OP)

Shotguns

  • Bucky
  • Judge

Heavies

  • Ares
  • Odin

Melee

  • Tactical Knife

We saw most of these weapons, if not all, in the Valorant early access gameplay. However, what we didn’t see there were the new skins that Riot Games has introduced. Not every weapon has a skin, though, which is strange. Below you can see some of the skins in the Closed Beta thanks to TimTheTatman’s Twitch stream.

There are a few other cosmetics, like a chilling ice skin, but they will cost you some real-life money. Don’t worry, though, because whatever you spend in the beta will be returned to you with 20% on top of that when Valorant fully releases.

Which weapon are you going to try? Let us know, and keep up with Daily Esports for all Valorant news.
