Two days after former top laner Kim “Ruin” Hyeong-min left 1907 Fenerbahçe for CLG, the team has brought on a replacement. Former SK Telecom T1 top laner Park “Untara” Ui-jin has joined the Turkish esports organization to fill the gap.

Untara’s previous history

Untara was released from SKT T1 after disappointing 2018 Spring and Summer Splits and will come back for the first time since. He played on SK Telecom T1 for about one and a half years, and he also previously competed under CJ Entus, Star Horn Royal Club, EP.Carries, and Anarchy. However, his last time playing on SKT also marked the first time in history the South Korean esports organization didn’t reach the World Championships.

Recent changes for 1907 Fenerbahçe

1907 Fenerbahçe accumulated a 4-win and 3-loss standing in Group A at MSI 2019. Unfortunately, they were not able to advance to the Play-In Knockouts stage. This was due to losing to Phong Vũ Buffalo in a tiebreaker match.

A few days after the team did not advance to the next stage, their former top laner joined CLG. So far, Ruin has not commented on the report though. The organization also saw former jungler Thomas “Kirei” Yuen leave. Kirei has since joined the Misfits Academy roster, named Misfits Premier.

As of the moment, their roster includes top laner Park “Untara” Ui-jin, mid laner Onur “Bolulu” Can Demirol, Volkan “Hades” Dinçer, and bot laner Bahadır “Japone” Çolak. Their jungler spot has not yet been filled, but with this new pickup, news should come soon.

The team achieved first place finishes in the TCL 2019 Winter split. The last time the team achieved a first place finish before the last season was the TCL 2017 Summer Split. The only remaining player since that season is Japone.

The Turkish Champion Leage (TCL) 2019 Summer Split will most likely start during the middle of June. How do you think Untara will do on his new team? Keep up with all of the latest League of Legends news and content at Daily Esports.
