Disguised Toast moves to Facebook Gaming

In the past few months, we have seen a number of high-profile streamers leave Twitch behind. It seems like most in the Twitch community feel that the platform is distancing itself from what it once was. However, there are certainly some lucrative streaming deals popping up.

Now streaming on Facebook, Disguised Toast will use this new opportunity to further expand his reach in the gaming industry. Not only that, but the Beverly Hills-based streamer will also continue his philanthropic endeavors in bigger and better ways.

“One of my favorite things about streaming is that I get to engage with viewers from across the world. Throughout my career, I’ve made it a priority to learn about different cultures and experiences. My move to Facebook Gaming will give me a larger platform to share my voice with a global audience and hear their perspectives on the gaming landscape.”

Facebook has always prided itself on being a global brand, and Disguised Toast is the perfect streamer to promote this effort. He is bilingual, fluent in both English and Mandarin, and has a community based around the globe. Here’s what Leo Olebe, global director of games partnerships for Facebook, said about the move:

“Disguised Toast has built a strong, inclusive community, around a uniquely diverse set of games, and we’re thrilled to welcome him to the Facebook Gaming family.”

Prioritizing charity efforts

Disguised Toast is one of the most charitable streamers in the industry. As such, he will be donating his entire first month’s donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Both he and Facebook share this mindset, so this won’t be the last we hear of charity donations by Disguised Toast.

“Facebook Gaming and I share a deep understanding about the importance of giving back and helping others. I have always admired Facebook’s proactive approach to philanthropy, and I am excited about working together to support children and families in need.”
