Full Call of Duty: Modern Warfare killstreaks list supposedly leaked

The annually celebrated leak season for Call of Duty is upon us. Around this time every year, various leaks about the next upcoming title start to surface from various sources. While not all turn out to be accurate, most of the time a few rumors end up being true.

However, unlike previous years, leaks for Modern Warfare have been scarce. Activision and Infinity Ward have been great at keeping quiet about any and all Multiplayer rumors. We know very little about the mode as a whole, with a small amount of information confirmed.

However, thanks to YouTuber TheGamingRevolution, we may have our first leak of the summer with the full killstreak list for Modern Warfare.

Potential Modern Warfare killstreaks

As with any rumor or leak, the following information is not confirmed in any way by developer Infinity Ward. TheGamingRevolution claims to have a source with insider knowledge, but we currently have no way to be certain of this leak’s legitimacy.

With that said, let’s get into the alleged full killstreak list for Modern Warfare.

  • Personal UAV
  • Shielded Turret
  • Care Package
  • Scrambler Drone (Counter-UAV)
  • Clusterstrike
  • Cruise Missle (Predator Missle from older titles)
  • Team UAV
  • Precision Airstrike
  • Wheelson (Cerberus from Black Ops 3)
  • Chopper Gunner
  • Advanced UAV (Blackbird, HATR from Black Ops series)
  • White Phosphorus (A chemical version of a Napalm Strike)
  • VTOL (Like the one from Black Ops 2)
  • Juggernaut Suit
  • Pavelow
  • AC-130
  • Tactical Nuke (25 Killstreak that ends the game upon calling it in)

In total, according to TheGamingRevolution, there will be 17 killstreaks featured in Modern Warfare. Most of the streaks you see have already appeared in previous Modern Warfare games, namely Modern Warfare 2. The AC-130, Pavelow, Cruise Missle, Chopper Gunner, and the Nuke are all staples of the”glory days” of Call of Duty.

That said, there is one aspect of the Modern Warfare killstreaks that few saw coming. In the video, TheGamingRevolution made it a point to stress the fact that these streaks will be rewarded through kills, rather than score.

Scorestreaks were first seen in Black Ops 2 and have been a mainstay in Call of Duty ever since. However, in keeping with their desire to return to the old days, Infinity Ward has supposedly decided to do away with this mechanic and solely focus on kills.

If this killstreak list for Modern Warfare turns out to be even partly true, a majority of the community will be thrilled. One knock on recent Call of Duty titles has been the subpar scorestreaks that take too long to get with not enough reward. Maybe Infinity Ward will be the developers to turn that perception around.
