G2 Esports has announced that its partnership with computer peripherals and software company Logitech will be renewed. The latter will provide the professional esports players and content creators part of the Berlin organization with the “top-notch gear they need to be champions.”

Logitech partnership renewal

“G2 Esports’ commitment and vision is evident in the strides they’ve made as a team over the last three years,” said Ujesh Desai, Logitech G vice president and general manager, in a release. “The work we are doing together will continue to inform our future products, and help shape the growth, development, and wellness of the entire esports industry.”

The professional players part of G2 Esports will collaborate with Logitech by lending their time and expertise toward the development of new technologies. By providing their feedback on the peripherals used during practices, Logitech will create new products in the G PRO series lineup. The two will also partner together on content creation.

“G2 is all about creating immersive and memorable experiences for fans through collaborations with our partners,” said Carlos “ocelote” Rodriguez, CEO of G2 Esports. “We are excited to expand our partnership with Logitech G to provide entertaining activations and products for the #G2ARMY and our players. 2020 is going to be a year to remember for G2 Esports and we are excited to keep winning with Logitech G.”

The initial collaboration between Logitech and G2 Esports started in 2017. Since this time, the organization has achieved 94 placements across 10 of its teams. This includes its well known League of Legends roster, which is currently undefeated in the Spring Split of the European scene.
