Gen.G and Toyota just announced a 10-day gaming stream virtual race event. Kicking off July 19 and concluding on July 28, the Toyota Sedan: Drive Your Game features nine content creators on three teams.
How to participate in Toyota Sedan: Drive Your Game
The winning team will receive prizes for their community members. A PlayStation 5 and gift cards are on the line.
Each team’s process is measured by images of Toyota sedans completing laps and earning points. The score can be found at the bottom of each livestream. Viewers can help drive the cars forward by sending Toyota sedan emotes in the live Twitch chat.
“These emotes, along with social media likes and comments, will be a strong factor in deciding the winner of this one-of-a-kind experience,” the announcement said.
Tony Mueller, the vice president of integrated marketing operations at Toyota Motor North America, said he’s thrilled to launch the Toyota Sedan: Drive Your Game with Gen.G.
“With this campaign, we strive to promote friendly competition within the gaming community by creating spaces where players and spectators can come together to participate in a unique partnership that highlights our incredible Toyota sedan lineup,” Mueller said.
Content creators take the stage
The Gen.G and Toyota event features gamers, streamers and esports players. They come from games like League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics and Minecraft. Some of the content creators include Tim “Nemesis” Lipovšek, Gloria “Ploo,” Caroline “Captain Puffy,” Avery “Siha,” Nathan “Stanz” Stanz, Jessica Kim and Shelby “Shubble” Graces.
Below is the schedule for each content creator:
“Streaming is an essential part of the gaming landscape and we are excited to continue to deliver fresh content with a fun twist to our fans,” Martin Kim, the vice-president of strategic partnerships at Gen.G, said. “We have a vibrant history with Toyota so it was fitting to partner with the brand to bring this event to life.”
In the past, Gen.G and Toyota collaborated on the Toyota Sienna Dream Builds Minecraft event.
