Several card reveals led up to the expansion, all 135 of which players can now view over on the game’s website.

New keyword, cards and more

Some of these new cards also have a new keyword. A card with Honorable Kill provides a bonus effect once a player, on their turn, uses it to deal exact lethal to an enemy. A couple of these cards include Axe Berserker and Brasswing. While Axe Berserker is a 4 mana 3/5, Brasswing is a 9/7 dragon that costs 8 mana.

Hearthstone’s Fractured in Alterac Valley expansion also has new hero cards. All 10 classes within the game can access a Legendary hero card and take advantage of the battlecries and hero powers. Examples of these cards include Xyrella, the Devout and Beaststalker Tavish.

Hearthstone players can try out objective cards within Fractured in Alterac Valley as well. These new spell cards come with effects lasting for three turns. Iceblood Tower and Desecrated Graveyard are a couple examples of these spells.

Horde versus Alliance

Players who haven’t done so already can also login now and select a faction. If a player chooses to fight for the Horde, then they will be rewarded with a golden copy of Drek’Thar. Those who want to represent the Alliance will receive Vanndar Stormpike.

Hearthstone players can also earn honor points within their chosen faction. By ranking up within their faction, a player can get prizes, including a golden card of the opponent faction’s leader.

Additionally, Fractured in Alterac Valley showcases the refreshed Rewards Track. Players automatically receive their unclaimed rewards on the free and Tavern Pass tracks, and a brand new Rewards Track features the latest unlocks.
