One of the final batches of Fortnite challenges in Chapter 2 – Season 3 is here as Season 4 continues to slowly approach. Week 9 of Season 3 only has seven challenges in total and not too many difficult tasks. However, like with every set of challenges, there are some that will be quite time-consuming. This could be worth it for some players though, as Season 3’s Battle Pass won’t be around for much longer. If you’re struggling to reach Tier 100, the XP from these challenges could be what you need to get over the hump.

The Fortnite Season 3 Week 9 challenges

As with every week, the challenges went live early this morning on every major system. So PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and all mobile devices have access to the set. While you can take your time with the challenges, don’t take too long, as Fortnite Season 4 should arrive at the end of August. After that happens, the Season 3 challenges won’t be available anymore.

Below, you can see the full list of the Season 3 Week 9 challenges.

  • Search Chests at Pleasant Park (7)
  • Eliminations at The Fortilla (3)
  • Gas up a Vehicle at Catty Corner (1)
  • Stoke Campfires at Camp Cod (3)
  • Collect Metal at Hydro 16 (200)
  • Eliminate Henchmen or Marauders (7)
  • Eliminate Henchmen or Marauders (70)

From a quick glance, the tasks don’t seem too out of the ordinary. There are the usual “Search Chests” and “Eliminations” challenges and also some collection tasks. However, at the end of the list is where things get a little complicated.

Eliminating seven Henchmen or Marauders shouldn’t take too long, but putting down 70 will take some effort. The Fortnite Henchmen and Marauders aren’t the most difficult enemies in the world but this challenge won’t be a walk in the park. We suggest landing at The Authority every Fortnite match, eliminating every Henchmen in sight, then move around the map to see if any Marauders drop down on you. It’s not 100% efficient but it’s the easiest method.

Completing each challenge will net you 35,000 XP, which is a good chunk for those looking for a little Battle Pass boost.

That’s it for this Week 9 challenge guide! Make sure to stay tuned to Daily Esports for all Fortnite news.
