The v18.30 update is live in Fortnite Season 8, courtesy of Epic Games, and players can now access a lot of new content. Aside from the Cube Queen arriving as an unlockable skin, there are a handful of new NPCs for players to interact with on the map. One of them is Shadow Ops, who carries a set of Punchcard quests with her that players can complete for Fortnite Battle Pass XP.

Shadow Ops was considered a “tryhard” skin back in Chapter 1 and now arrives on the Chapter 2 map as a non-playable character. Her Punchcard quests are like any other NPC’s; the set holds five challenges that players can complete for 30,000 XP each. However, for players to start earning this XP, they need to locate Shadow Ops and know how to complete the Punchcard quests in her line.

Shadow Ops’ Punchcard quests in Fortnite

To begin the questline, players can jump off of the Battle Bus and land at a location northwest of Catty Corner and south of Lazy Lake. Shadow Ops is found patrolling the southern area of the town south of Lazy Lake, which can be a contested drop. Once players find Shadow Ops, they can interact with her and this will trigger her Punchcard questline.

  • Visit a Guardian Tower (0/1)
  • Collect light ammo, medium ammo, and shells (0/3)
  • Cause shotgun damage to a Cube Monsters in the Sideways (0/2)
  • Get a headshot with a pistol (0/2)
  • Eliminate an opponent with an SMG (0/1)

Shadow Ops has a diverse set of Punchcard quests in Fortnite. They don’t seem to be related in any way but most of them deal with a weapon of some kind. Players will need to get lucky with the weapons they find across a match in order to complete most of her quests. Once they do, they’ll have earned a total of 150,000 XP and can move on to another NPC’s questline in Fortnite Season 8.
