How to complete the Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 3 Week 5 Challenges

Another week means more Fortnite challenges to complete in Chapter 2 – Season 3. For Week 5, players are tasked with seven challenges that revolve around different locations on the map. While not as difficult as Week 4 was, the tasks will still require some special attention if players want to complete them in an efficient manner. Today, we’ll be listing the Week 5 Fortnite challenges and going over how to complete the trickier ones. Let’s see how you can earn that extra XP for your Season 3 Battle Pass.

Unlike the last installment, Week 5 only features seven challenges as compared to nine. This is great for players who want to complete every challenge as quickly as possible. However, this does mean that less XP is available to earn for your Battle Pass.

Here are the seven Week 5 challenges in Season 3 of Fortnite:

  • Search Chests at Sweaty Sands (0/7)
  • Eliminations at Retail Row (0/3)
  • Use a Firefly Jar or Flare Gun at Misty Meadows (0/1)
  • Land at The Yacht and finish top 25 (0/1)
  • Catch fish at Craggy Cliffs (0/5)
  • Upgrade a weapon at Salty Springs (0/1)
  • Collect Floating Rings at Steamy Stacks (0/4)

A majority of the challenges won’t take much time at all as long as you head into a match with the goal of completing them. Tasks like searching Chests at Sweaty Sands or eliminations at Retail Row should only take a short amount of time.

Although, there are some in this batch that will take a few matches if you don’t know where to look. The hardest among the Week 5 set is probably the final challenge, which requires collecting Floating Rings at Steamy Stacks.

The rings are a good way in the air at the four corners of Steamy Stacks. So, you’ll either need to jump out of the Battle Bus in four separate matches or do a ton of building to reach all four. Though, if you do this challenge in Team Rumble, the task isn’t as daunting.

That’s it for the Week 5 challenges! Make sure to keep up with Daily Esports for all Fortnite news and guides.
