Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel players can face off against opponents on any device, and they can also transfer data between devices too if they have a KONAMI ID linked to their Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel account. The first step that players need to take after logging into the main menu of the game is to click the submenu on the top right of the main menu screen. From there, players will see a dropdown menu with different options. Under the Customer Support tab there will be an option called Data Transfer; click on this to continue.

Once selected, players will be taken to a screen that informs them that this is the place to set up Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel data transfer between platforms. However, it will alert players that they need a KONAMI ID linked to the account to be able to move data. There are separate steps for players that already have a KONAMI ID and those who don’t. Regardless, the QR code that is shown will direct both groups of players to the same link. For players that don’t or can’t use the QR code, there is a clickable link on the page.

Clicking on this link will take players to the KONAMI ID sign-in page on the KONAMI ID website.  Players that already have a KONAMI ID just have to do is sign in, and their account will then automatically connect to their Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel account. Payers that don’t already have a KONAMI ID need to select the create a new account option on the page. Account creation requires an email address and some personal information and is free.

After creating the account and then verifying it, new KONAMI ID players will then also have their Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel account linked. At this point, players can exit and head back to Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel.

To transfer data to a separate device, download Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel on a different platform and at the main menu selection on the first boot up, the game will ask if you want to link data. At this point, follow the steps, and your Yu-Gi-Oh! Master duel account will link.
