In what many are calling “Valorant Day”, the Closed Beta for Riot Games’ new FPS title is here. Valorant can now be accessed for those lucky enough to receive a special Twitch Drop. You can read about how to receive a Drop in our Closed Beta guide.

For those that do have access, you might be overwhelmed with the amount of content presented to you. There’s a huge list of Agents and weapons to familiarize yourself with, and that’s before you even hop into a match. However, there is a way you can get to know Valorant without jumping straight into a game, and it’s called Practice Mode.

Where is the Practice Mode in Valorant?

Riot Games doesn’t really offer any kind of tutorial when you first start up Valorant. You’re greeted with the lobby menu screen and can browse each section. However, there’s no guide pointing to every section of the game.

As such, many players are struggling to find certain features within the Closed Beta. One of those features is the Practice Mode, where you can hone your skills against A.I. Bots in a game setting. You can test out each Agent and their abilities as well as buy every weapon. This also allows you to learn about the Buy Menu, which is a crucial part of Valorant.

To enter Practice Mode, make sure you’re at the main screen where you can view guns, Agents, etc. On the right side of the screen, above your Friends List, you’ll see a little symbol. Click on that symbol, and the game will offer to take you into Practice Mode.

Simply say yes to enter Practice Mode and you’ll be transported to the map. The area itself is full of practice elements to help you master Valorant. There’s a game mode simulation, target practice off to the side of the map, and a parkour area. We’ll cover some of those features later, so make sure to stay tuned to Daily Esports for that and all Valorant coverage.
