Fortnite Season 6 has introduced a huge variety of brand new weapons that can either be picked up or crafted through the player’s inventory. However, the Mythic Primal Shotgun can only be equipped in one specific location.
This shotgun has a base version like other new weapons, but there’s also the Mythic version that players want to get their hands on. The Primal form can be crafted by finding animal bones throughout the Fortnite island. Of course, the Mythic version is much stronger but it does require a bit more work to obtain.
Acquiring the Mythic Primal Shotgun in Fortnite
To start, players will need to land in the new Spire POI in the center of the Fortnite map. More specifically, players need to land between the letters “The” and “Spire” on the actual map.
Once the player lands, they will need to look for the Spire Assassin, who spawns at the peak of the central spire in the POI. As long as the landing is correct, the Assassin will spawn and allow the player to fight them.
When fighting the NPC, players should attempt to stay back as far as possible. The Assassin uses a shotgun-type weapon and stealthy tactics that make fighting them up close a real chore. However, staying back allows the player to get shots in and, eventually, eliminate them.
After the Assassin is dead, they’ll drop a slew of items, but the item that players are most interested in is the Spire Assassin’s Primal Shotgun. The weapon glows gold and can instantly be equipped. With this in hand, players become a deadly force on the map; especially when paired with the Mythic Spire Jumpboots, which can also be obtained at The Spire POI.
