If you’ve defeated Godrick the Grafted in Elden Ring, then you might be wondering what to do with the Great Rune you received. The answer to the question you’re asking is both short and long at the same time. The short answer is you need to go to the Divine Tower of Limgrave to restore it. However, getting to the tower is a long and tough process that might require a few tries.

You can see the Divine Tower of Limgrave on the Elden Ring map fairly easily. It’s the large circular structure jutting out of the water and the bridge attached to Stormveil Castle. If you look at the bridge itself, though, it’s cracked and Torrent won’t be able to jump the distance needed to cover it.

You’ll need to follow our guide below to find out how to access the Divine Tower and restore your first Great Rune.

The Divine Tower of Limgrave in Elden Ring

To get to the tower, you must return to Stormveil Castle. Open your map and fast travel to the Site of Grace called “Rampart Tower.” From here, head out to the falcon-infested bridge and head down the stairs at the far end. Take a fight along the rooftops and go past the hole in the ground to the other side of the roof. Look down and you will see a large knight and a bodyguard patrolling the area.

Defeat both of them, ideally by ranging them from the roof, and descend down the ladder. Go to the right side of the bridge and head inside to find more knights patrolling. Eliminate all of the guards and keep heading forward to find a spider-looking enemy. If you’re above this enemy, drop down when it’s not looking and head straight into an armor room. If you’re on the same level, sneak past it to enter the same armor room.

In this room, you will see a door ahead. Be ready to sprint out of this door and head directly right. There are dozens of enemies waiting for you outside this room. Dodge past them all and head down the bridge with the flamethrower, taking out any enemies in front of you. Keep going forward and avoid the archers firing flaming arrows at you.

Go through the gate to find yourself in a courtyard with trees and more enemies. From the entrance, you want to head to the left and find a lit-up room with several statues in it, as seen above. Be careful, though, as this room is guarded by a huge lion mini-boss.

Head through the statue room and out the other end to find a Site of Grace. Discover and then keep going along the bridge. There are several giant stone enemies that will get up as you pass them but just keep running past them. Eventually, you’ll reach the end of the bridge and a portal, which you need to take.

Once you’ve taken the portal, you will be transported to the other side of the bridge. From here, open the door and you’ll be inside the Divine Tower of Limgrave. You can now restore Godrick’s Great Rune in Elden Ring.
