How to use the Trophy System in COD Mobile

A long-standing piece of equipment in Call of Duty

The Trophy System is a piece of Tactical Equipment in Call of Duty Mobile that’s unlocked at player account Level 45. It was first introduced in Black Ops 2 and immediately garnered both casual and competitive interest. However, even after all of these years, some players are still unaware of what this piece of equipment does.

With COD Mobile gaining attention from fans of all ages and backgrounds, there’s often content that confuses newer players. Items like the Tactician Perk and the Trophy System will pop up in seasonal challenges or events and leave players dumbfounded on how to complete the task. The Trophy System has appeared in several daily challenges over the course of COD Mobile’s life cycle, causing players to search their game for an explanation. After all, you don’t want to lose out on rewards just because you don’t know what an item is.

You can see exactly what the Trophy System and how to use it in the guide below.

What is the Trophy System in COD Mobile?

Once players unlock the Trophy System at Level 45, they can go into their loadout menu and select “Tactical” from the Equipment tab. From there, they can find the description of the Trophy System. Essentially, this equipment blocks incoming enemy projectiles. There are some caveats with this, though.

One of them is that players have to throw the Trophy System down on the ground. This means that players only have protection in that area and enemies can destroy the item by meleeing or shooting it. Another caveat is that the Trophy System only blocks explosive projectiles, meaning bullets can still go un-passed through it. The last caveat is that the Trophy System will only block a couple of projectiles before blowing up.

The list of projectiles that the Trophy System protects includes Flash/Concussion/Smoke Grenades, Lethal Grenades, RPG Rockets, Predator Missiles and more. In order to use the Trophy System effectively, players must station themselves by one. They can then patrol the area around the item, shooting at an enemy that comes into view.

However, the best part about having the Trophy System around is that players only have to worry about being shot by an enemy or having a killstreak rain down on them. Of course, this is until their Trophy System is destroyed, at which point players will be at the mercy at whatever projectile comes near them.

The best way to use the Trophy System in COD Mobile

If you’re looking to get the most out of your Trophy System, I suggest placing it down in high-traffic areas on a map. Of course, if you’re playing an objective-based game mode, then you will find more success by throwing it down near an objective, such as a Domination flag or a Hardpoint area.

By doing this, you stop most of the projectiles that enemies throw to try and clear you and your team out of the objective area. However, this strategy works even better if you have multiple Trophy Systems near an objective, as this will ensure that you have the most coverage possible from projectiles.

It might take some time to learn the best places to put Trophy Systems, but you should be able to pick it up pretty easily.
