The Call of Duty League is set to begin its 2021 season this weekend, starting on Jan. 23, with the Kickoff Classic. Not an official event, this round of matches is simply to get both the fans and players ready for the regular season.

The first actual event, Opening Weekend, is slated to take place on Feb. 11. However, fans are still looking forward to the Kickoff Classic, as they were able to vote for the individual matches they wanted to see most. Rivalries will be renewed and fans will get to see which teams are ahead of others. Keep reading below for full details on the matchups and how to watch.

Full details on the Call of Duty League Kickoff Classic

The 2021 season kicks off on Saturday, Jan. 23 at 3:00 p.m. ET. Fans can watch the event on the official Call of Duty League YouTube channel like you could in 2020. As this is the first event of the year though, expect some technical difficulties and even delays to occur throughout the weekend. The Kickoff Classic will start at the same time on both Jan. 23 and 24.

As for the individual matches, each one was hand-picked by the fans on Twitter. Each CDL organization sent out a poll, asking fans to vote for which matchup they wanted to see. Naturally, there are some juicy head-to-heads that should be a great indicator of how some teams stack up against the competition.
