Teaming up with GameStop and Ironclad

GameStop is the world’s largest video game retailer, and as they partner with the team, they will introduce the world of League of Legends to the amateur video game community. Moreover, GameStop will continue to be a partner to Immortals for the 2020 season. Fans are expected to enjoy new and special content created by both companies throughout the year.

Additionally, Ironclad Performance Wear will also take part in Immortals’ celebration. As the “the leader in high-performance, task-specific work gloves” they’ve developed the first performance PC gaming gloves that will be introduced during the event. In their press release, Ironclad’s President Jun Xu discussed their newest product-tested gear. “Ironclad gloves are built on innovation, authenticity, and quality… Through our partnership with IGC, we worked with professional gamers, embracing those key elements to create a totally new glove category.”

As this product is to improve player performance and fatigue, fans at the event will be intrigued to get a first-hand preview. Once they’re finalized, the Immortals-branded gloves are set to be worn at designated League of Legends stations ahead of the 2020 season.

Exciting return to the NA LCS

Immortals has had quite a year. The popular team was an active League of Legends group back in 2015-2017. Once they switched to a franchise format, they lost a slot in the LCS. However, Immortals raised $30 million in Series B funding to bid on OpTic Gaming’s parent company, ultimately acquiring Infinite Esports & Entertainment.

In October, Immortals announced their return to the NA LCS. OpTic’s previous head coach Thomas “Zaboutine” Si-Hassen had also been revealed to join the team. To show how appreciative they are of their fans, Immortals is selling tickets to their team celebration on Jan. 13. On their event page, they highlight content that you won’t want to miss: “All event attendees will have access to unlimited gameplay tokens, exclusive IMT swag items, giveaways sponsored by GameStop, and a special AMA with our 2020 roster and coaching staff.”

The event is set to take place at a Los Angeles vintage arcade bar. The bar, known as Button Mash, will be a perfect place for fans to socialize with their favorite players while having the chance to play some retro arcade games. Tickets can be found on their official event page.
