Insane Pathfinder zipline strategy could win you matches in Apex Legends

Pathfinder is one of the most popular characters in Apex Legends. Its dry sense of humor and constant optimism aside, the robot’s movement abilities are why most teams have one. Part of the current meta for Ranked Play, Pathfinder can get you and your whole team out of a jam with its zipline ultimate ability. However, one player may have found a strategy using said zipline that can almost singlehandedly win you a match in Apex Legends. Let’s take a look at that strategy and the best way to use it.

The new Apex Legends Pathfinder strategy

With two zip lines for abilities, it’s no wonder that fast-paced players naturally drift towards Pathfinder. If used correctly, both abilities can get you across the map in half the time it would take another legend.

Although, the ziplines can be used for much more than simply moving quicker around World’s Edge. The tool can also be implemented as a way to out-maneuver opponents and gain an upper hand in gunfights.

One Reddit user, bbyrne7, shows us one of those ways that could become more popular given how successful it is.

Of course, this strategy requires the correct zone to pull off successfully. As we see from the clip, Pathfinder uses its ultimate ability to simply float in the air as the enemy teams fight each other on the ground.

For this strategy to work, you’ll need a zone that allows you to keep a higher ground than where your enemies are. If you’re lucky enough to get one of these zones, then simply mimic what bbryne7 does in the clip.

As long as you keep interacting with the zipline, you can go back and forth for as long as you want. So, while your enemies are down on the ground, you can just look on from your zipline. When the time is right, jump down and finish off the remaining enemies.
