Brazilian esports organization INTZ Esports announced they have signed Brazilian Bruno “shz” Martinelli to their CSGO roster. This news comes after former player Vito “kNgV-” Giuseppe left the organization for MiBR.

Bruno “shz” Martinelli

Shz began his competitive career in 2016 under organizations like MK3 Esports, Remo Brave Esports, and then Luminosity Gaming. While with Luminosity, shz went on to a 7th place finish at Season 2 of North America’s Esports Championship Series, 2017’s DreamHack Open Austin, and Season 5 of the ESL Pro League.

After staying with LG for almost a year, he then played for teams like Tempo Storm, Immortals, Dereguedere, YeaH! Gaming, Imperial Esports, Inflames, and Keyd Stars. This marks the first time in almost two years that the Brazilian player will return to a team based in the North America region. He fills in the slot that kNgV- held, before he left for MiBR after the StarLadder Berlin Major.

This roster change comes after Martinelli showed good performance while on Keyd Stars at recent events. The new team consists of Alexandre “xand” Zizi, Marcelo “chelo” Cespedes, Gustavo “yel” Knittel, Lucas “DeStiNy” Bullo, and shz. Alessandro “Apoka” Marcucci is the coach for the INTZ roster. However, the new INTZ Esports addition is not an AWPer like kNgV-, which means another player like team captain yeL would need to take over.

During 2019, INTZ has not achieved much in terms of event placements. Some notables include a 13 – 16th at Season 9 of the ESL Pro League, 5 – 6th at DreamHack Open Rio de Janeiro, and a 3rd place finish at Berlin’s Americas Minor Championship. The team also went on to 23 – 24th place at the most recent 2019 StarLadder Berlin Major and 5th at Season 7 of the Esports Championship Series for North America.

INTZ will play their next event in Season 32 of the North American ESEA Premier Division Mountain Dew League.
