Knife kills in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO) are a rare sight, especially at the highest possible level of matches. The act requires luck, a high degree of trigger discipline, or fantastic lurking skills. Actually, a combination of the three works best. Well, Fnatic’s Jesper “JW” Wecksell, known for his flamboyant behavior and flashy plays, has backstabbed two FaZe players in quick succession in a match at ESL Pro League. A double knife kill against FaZe Clan is definitely something to be proud of for a CSGO professional.

JW humiliates coldzera and broky

The subjects of the double homicide were Marcelo “coldzera” David and Helvijs “broky” Saukants. The match was taking place on Inferno, the decider map for the matchup. FaZe were forced to make a save on round 10. Playing on the counter-terrorist side, they stacked B-site, leaving only Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer on A for information purposes. Somehow, JW ran up mid and went straight to arch, checking the A-site from long for a brief moment before entering library.

Olofmeister, who was hiding on A-site, heard JW but failed to catch his ex-Fnatic teammate in time, taking his own precious time and returning to A-site in the end. Meanwhile, JW made his way all the way to ruins and, to his surprise, caught coldzera and broky facing banana on top of coffins. The casters knew it, the fans knew it, and JW knew it also: It was an opportunity given on a silver platter. The Swede whipped out his knife and slaughtered the two unsuspecting players, just before falling to Håvard “rain” Nygaard. And so, JW banked $3000 in-game with the added satisfaction of humiliating FaZe clan players. What’s more, Fnatic beat FaZe Clan in the best-of-three match-up 2-1. It was definitely a good day for JW.
