The Krig 6 is one of the most well-known assault rifles in Call of Duty: Warzone. It dominated Verdansk for a couple of seasons before receiving a hefty nerf in Season 5 Reloaded. This has caused a majority of players to shy away from it, believing other rifles are better options. While that is true in some cases, the Krig 6 isn’t as horrible as some players might think. In fact, the Krig 6’s recommended loadout in Warzone is actually on par with other popular ARs in Season 6.

During the peak of its fame, the Krig was known for featuring a high rate of fire and substantial damage range, with almost no recoil. Nowadays, it still has those stats but they’ve been tuned slightly by Raven Software. This doesn’t make it the beast it once was but players can still have success with it in Warzone.

Best Krig 6 loadout in Warzone

For the most part, the Krig’s loadout hasn’t changed in Warzone since it was originally introduced with Black Ops Cold War. The only aspect of the loadout that’s changed is the barrel, as Raven Software buffed the Takedown barrels to make them more viable.

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 19.7″ Takedown
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Magazine: STANAG 60 Rnd

As players can see, this loadout makes full use of the Takedown barrel, which boosts damage range by a large amount. That’s paired with the Agency Suppressor to add some extra bullet velocity, damage range and keeps players off the radar when firing.

The supporting attachments for the Krig 6 are as standard as it gets. The Axial Arms 3x is the best mid-range scope, the Field Agent Grip reduces both vertical and horizontal recoil and the STANAG 60 Rnd allows players more shots before having to reload.

While there are better options in Season 6, this Krig 6 loadout is still viable in Warzone.
