It seems League of Legends is revving up for a new Frejlord-born champion to hit the rift. According to an insider, the concept artist labeled the champion as Frejlord’s “Guide.” Additionally, the same insider leaked the champion’s voice lines. Unfortunately, there aren’t many details about this, so it’s hard to tell what abilities he has or which lane he belongs to. However, the League community is no stranger to these kinds of leaks, and they’re sure to find out soon. Take a look at your new favorite (rumored) champion: Aidyn.

The first leak was released on the League of Legends subreddit on March 27. It teased the community with some of Aidyn’s voice lines and interactions. With a heavy accent and a voice as deep as Braum, he sounds like a kind-hearted fellow. “The days of the war of the three sisters in no Iceborn’s memory. But we were there, not me, but we were there.” His lines seem to reflect on Frejlord history, the same icy region where Ashe, Braum, Gnar, Lissandra, and many others originate from.

Riot Leak

Some Reddit users speculated about the champion. Others guessed that it might be a new Braum or Volibear skin. One user observed that his connection to Frejlord’s history may hint at the kind of champion he is, suggesting he’ll be someone who fights using the spirit of his ancestors.

Soon after, the same Reddit user leaked some concept art, revealing his weapons and a possible champion design. These seem like very rough drafts, so it may not even end up looking like what the leak shows. The art reveals a detailed helmet with a weapon shaped like a scythe or a staff. It’s hard to tell with the rough drawings, but we may see more clarifying details coming out soon.

Additionally, Riot Games revealed upcoming champions and skins in their 2020 Roadmap. They mentioned a new Jungler and a “masked champion who refuses to die.” Whether these descriptions match Aidyn is not yet clear, and we’ll have to wait until its official release. While the community is already discussing the leak, the new champions have some time before they’ll hit the rift. The 2020 Roadmap indicates these new additions will be released in the Summer.
