Riot Games would talk about their new partner in a news release, saying:

As a long-time supporter of the LoL esports ecosystem, and patron of multiple teams. Logitech G is the global leader in PC and console gaming gear. Logitech G provides gamers of all levels with industry-leading keyboards, mice, headsets, mousepads and simulation products – made possible through innovative design, advanced technologies and a deep passion for gaming. It is a natural fit for the LEC stage, where they’ll be supplying keyboards, mice and mousepads for the 2019 season.

Not only that, but Logitech will also be collaborating with the LEC to create some officially-branded LEC hardware. These new peripherals will be available for purchase sometime in 2019. Additionally, Logitech will be presenting a new broadcast segment to each game day: the Play by Play format! This new segment will show viewers the small nuances between each play, zooming into the action to allow spectators to see any precision movements. Also, Logitech will provide a few fans the chance to play a match on an LEC Finals stage via sweepstakes!

Primetime Sponsors for the LEC!

Alongside Logitech, there are multiple other patrons this year for Europe’s best. For example, the LEC would announce that Foot Locker and DXRacer were official patrons of the league. Foot Locker will be providing the on-air talent and officials with the latest gear. Also, they will be decking out the officials on stage with new jerseys too. Meanwhile, DXRacer is not a new face to the LEC, as they were the chair providers for the league in 2018.

As a result, they are coming back after a successful year to continue to provide the European players the best on-stage comfort. Not to mention, DXRacer will be releasing some custom-branded LEC gaming chairs. These chairs will be releasing to the public sometime around March, so if you want to represent your region in style, you can do so in less than two months!

Official LEC Partner is…

A week ago, the LEC would announce that Shell will be the primary partner for the league. This is a first for competitive League of Legends and introduces a brand-new category for patrons for the esport. At the same time, this is a first for Shell as well and should encourage many other companies to patron esports leagues across the world. During the LEC broadcasts, there will be the all-new Baron Power Play with Shell V-Power. As a bonus, fans watching on Riot Games’ German Twitch channel will be able to claim seven-day XP boosts, courtesy of Shell. German resident will also be able to win special League of Legends rewards within the Shell ClubSmart loyalty program.
