Combo Breaker is an ongoing FGC tournament in St. Charles, Illinois, and Maister notably won the Smash 4 event at Combo Breaker 2018. His back-to-back Combo Breaker victories are especially impressive since he plays Mr. Game & Watch, a character considered low- to mid-tier in both games.

Other Combo Breaker 2019 results

Combo Breaker 2019’s Smash Ultimate Doubles champions, ESAM and Jestise “MVD” Negron, notably underperformed at this Singles event. No. 2 seed ESAM finished in 5th, losing to Maister and MVD. Similarly, No. 1 seed MVD finished in 4th, being double eliminated by Julian “Zinoto” Carrington.
