Misfits Gaming has announced the hiring of Vas Roberts as its newest Vice President of Partnerships. The United Kingdom-based organization will place Roberts as the leader of the commercial team in Europe, as the Misfits Gaming Group hopes to bolster its business presence overseas.
Joining Misfits Gaming as VP
“I’m delighted to join Misfits Gaming at such an exciting time for the company. I’m looking forward to leading the growth of the European business team and creating new partnerships that will strengthen our global brand,” said Vas Roberts. “I’ll be using my background in esports sponsorships, together with Senior Director Matt Bailey’s sports and entertainment experience to find the most exciting opportunities for partners.”
Roberts joins Misfits Gaming Group after over 10 years of experience in the esports industry. He previously held the position of Sales Director at gaming marketing agency Heaven Media. His most recent role was with esports production and competitive platform FACEIT, as its Vice President of Sales.
Expanding presence in Europe

The Misfits Gaming esports organization currently has teams in the League of Legends European Championship (LEC), Overwatch League with the Florida Mayhem, and Call of Duty League with the Florida Mutineers. With recent franchises based in North America, this is a great way for Misfits Gaming to grow its reach in Europe. He will also be able to leverage his experience to establish global partnerships in both regions.
