The Modern Warfare Season 1 Battle Pass is finally out in the open, as creators have unveiled each tier. YouTubers and streamers were flown out to Infinity Ward to gather information and capture footage on Season 1. We’ve already seen the new Ground War map, Gunfight maps, and the remastered version of Crash. While all of that is solid content, we already knew what those maps were beforehand. For the Battle Pass, on the other hand, we had no idea what to expect. However, we’ve now received a full look at each of the tiers coming in the Season 1 Battle Pass, launching tomorrow, Dec 3.

The first Modern Warfare Battle Pass unveiled

Thanks to YouTuber eColiEspresso, we can see each of the tiers in their entirety. All in all, there are 100 tiers in the Battle Pass. Only around 20 of those tiers are free to everyone who plays Modern Warfare, though. The other 80 are available to those who buy the Premium Battle Pass for 1,000 COD Points ($10).

While this may seem like years past for Call of Duty, it’s not. The new weapons coming with Season 1, the RAM-7 and Holger-26, are unlocked in the free version of the Battle Pass. While Premium users can earn weapon blueprints, everyone has the chance to earn new weapons.

Upon opening Modern Warfare on Dec 3, you’ll be greeted by a screen explaining the Battle Pass. Following that, you’ll see various weapons and weapon blueprints available in the Battle Pass. Credit to eColiEspresso for the images.

In addition to the weapons and blueprints, the Battle Pass will also feature many other cosmetic items. This includes animated emblems, watches, Double XP, calling cards, Operators and skins, and up to 1,300 COD Points. Like in Fortnite, if you save all of your COD Points from the Season 1 Battle Pass, you can buy the Season 2 Pass for free.

As mentioned earlier, the base Battle Pass is 1,000 COD Points. However, if you want to earn 20 tiers right off the bat, you can buy the Battle Pass Bundle for 2,400 COD Points. According to YouTubers, each tier will take about an hour of playtime to earn. The tiers are based on in-game XP though, so the Double XP tokens you earn can be very helpful.

This version of the Battle Pass seems much more refined than the one we saw in Black Ops 4. Time will tell if Infinity Ward can keep it this way.
