Launch day for Modern Warfare is quickly approaching, and as such, people already have the game in their possession. This happens every year as retailers start to receive thousands of copies for release night and the subsequent weekend. With so many copies floating around, some are bound to be given or sold to players around the world. That said, a patch went live for Modern Warfare earlier today that gave these early copy players access to the game’s full content. Previously, they were only able to access a small portion of the game. However, with the game now open to anyone with a disc, leaks are starting to flow in. One of the leaks we got today concerns many fan’s favorite game mode, Hardpoint.

Hardpoint not going to be at launch in Modern Warfare

Modern Warfare will reportedly not include Hardpoint at launch. We received a leaked image on Twitter from a player with an early copy. This player tweeted out an image of the game mode list within Modern Warfare and Hardpoint was not on it.

Hardpoint has been a staple in Call of Duty since its introduction in Black Ops 2. It combines classic domination with an added time restriction that plays out fabulously for both casual and competitive play. Since Black Ops 2, it’s been a competitive game mode in every title.

As for casual play, the Hardpoint playlist is considered one of the hardest to play. This is because many of the higher-skilled players flock to the game mode to improve their game or earn high kill counts due to how long Hardpoint can last.

Unfortunately, the leaked image has been removed due to copyright infringement. The same goes for all of the other leaks that are out there on Reddit and Twitter. If you have an early copy, make sure to not post anything online or Activision will remove it and ban you from the platform you posted on.
