Fortnite Naruto Cross-over officially announced

According to the official Fortnite Twitter account, Naruto will be dropping into Fortnite on November 16. The tweet doesn’t tell us much other than the date. However, Naruto fans will notice the cross-over points to Naruto Shippuden. This means players will most likely see an older Uzumaki Naruto.

Fortnite fans are going wild with speculation for this new cross-over. The above tweet received over 47,000 likes in less than thirty minutes!

Hidden Leaf Village Creative Hub

Known Fortnite Epic Games Creator (Epic’s Ambassador Program), and data miner HypeX has leaked some of the Naruto Shippuden content. According to HypeX’s tweet, Fortnite players will see a new “Hidden Leaf Village Creative Hub.” This could be a new Creative game mode themed around Naruto.

HypeX also hinted at the cost of the Naruto in-game items, telling fans to “prepare [their] wallets.” While we don’t have prices yet on the items, we can speculate based on similar cross-over events. The Naruto skin would probably be worth somewhere between 1500-1700 V-Bucks, and around 2000 V-Bucks for the set.

New items

Speaking of the set and items, the Naruto skin will most likely come with a back bling, emote, and harvesting tool. Based on Naruto’s character, the harvesting tool would most likely be a kunai. Prominent Fortnite leaker iFireMonkey leaked the below two items arriving in the Shop for Naruto Shippuden: the Ramen and Ninja Scroll. Based on the appearance of these items, and their use in the anime series, we can speculate on their use. The Ramen bowl is most likely an emote, while the Ninja Scroll is most likely a back bling. This scroll is similar to the one Jiraiya often wears on his back, or the one Naruto sports on his back in his Boss Sage mode.

Mythic Explosive Kunai

According to HypeX, a new item is coming to the game along for the Naruto Shippuden cross-over. The Mythic Explosive Kunai will likely land in the game during the cross-over. According to this tweet, the exploding kunai appears to have unlimited usage, with a recharge time of four seconds.

Naruto Shippuden coming this Friday

While Epic Games is yet to confirm many of the leaks, one thing is certain. Naruto Shippuden is coming to Fortnite on November 16.
